Comments: Located 1/2 mile from Monticello, Michie Tavern and Ash Lawn. Scenic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Piedmont. Observation decks, picnic areas, and walking trail. Free hayrides on weekends, school tours welcome by appointment. Special activities every weekend in September and October. Apple Harvest Festival, first and second weekends in October; apple butter making, live music, and crafts. Senior citizen discount every Tuesday.

Products: Opening July 1 - peaches and nectarines. Pick-your-own, fresh picked, and select-your-own apples -- starting August 26 - Gala, McIntosh, Golden Delicious; starting September 7 - Jonathan, Red Delicious; starting after September 30 - Fuji, Winesap, York, Rome, Granny Smith, Stayman. Fresh cider. Fresh-picked pumpkins. Fresh baked pies, breads, cookies, and apple cider donuts. Gift shop with handmade crafts, baskets, gourds, Indian corn, mini pumpkins, jams, jellies, apple butter, and Virginia hams.
